Girl and Basket

A symbol of prosperity, luck and peace Girl on a basket is a fine example of Jewish and Israeli folk art in bright positive colors.  Each lithograph print is hand signed and numbered by Irene Awret printed in limited quanities.

The Awret’s works has been exhibited in museums, galleries and private collections worldwide. These posters were given to the Egyptian delegation by the Israeli government on President Sadat’s peace mission to Jerusalem. These peace posters appeared 3 times on television as part of the news; they made history besides being of artistic value and are now hanging in the White House.
